Definition of products
Our products refer to flowers, plants, vases, pots and/or cards sold or supplied by our floral studio.
On-line purchases and products
We always endeavour to source our fresh flowers on the day of delivery. They are supplied to you professionally trimmed and conditioned for optimal longevity. Flowers are a product of nature and their natural life span will vary depending on a number of factors, including the specific floral variety, environmental factors and care. As a general guide, fresh flowers will look their best for between 5-7 days (and will still look great for some time thereafter). Some floral varieties such as wildflowers can last up to 2 weeks with the correct care.
Availability and Variations
When working with nature, there are no guarantees. We will do our absolute best to supply exactly what you order, however, due to variances in the weather & seasonal availability of some flowers, we cannot guarantee availability, exact colours or shades. Should we need to substitute any flowers for you, we will select what we feel is the next best option
Replacements and refunds
We take a great deal of pride in the quality of our products. As part of our ‘Satisfaction Guarantee’, if you feel your flowers (and/or other products) have not met your expectations, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to discuss a replacement or refund. We may require a photograph of the flowers and reserve the right to physically inspect the flowers prior to arranging a replacement or refund.
Cancellations
We appreciate things can change. If you would like to cancel your order, please notify our store by email on hello@bloomsbythebay.com.au or on 0404951776
For full order cancelation, we require notice of at least four 48 hours prior to the date of the order; in order to cancel the orders placed with our floral and craft suppliers. We need time to cancel excess quantities ordered and our suppliers need time to reallocate and or on sell that ordered stock elsewhere.
Cancellations received within less than 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled delivery date may incur a fee depending on the circumstances. Cancellations received with more than 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled delivery date will incur no fee and full refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders that have already left and are with our courier awaiting delivery, address details can be changed.
Payments
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST.
For all online purchases, full payment is required at the time of ordering. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or PayPal. We do not charge card surcharge fees. Orders will only be fulfilled once payment has been successfully processed.
Corporate and Events
For all on-going corporate accounts, we offer 30 days settlement.
For all events (including one-off corporate floral arrangements):
– Full payment 7 days prior (or shorter, depending on notice) to event date
– No refunds.
Weddings
– 30% deposit at time of order
– Settlement 4 weeks prior to wedding date
– 4 weeks + cancellation, forfeit deposit. 2 weeks cancellation notice for 50% refund. Otherwise, no refund.
All equipment (eg: vases/pots/bottles etc.) provided on hire to you must be made available for pick-up within 1 week of the event concluding. Any damages/breakages to equipment whilst in your possession will be subject to a replacement charge at cost plus a 10% administration fee.
Specialty orders of flowers, foliage’s and or accessories:
All special orders which we have been purposefully ordered to meet your specific requirements, including but not limited to all fresh materials, all silk and artificial materials, all containers and vases and all floristry sundries; will be the customers own responsibly to provide full payment for these particulars. Blooms by the Bay will not be responsible to provide you with a refund for these particulars if unable to cancel the order with our suppliers. Part payment and or deposits for special order may apply – please refer to staff, conditions will vary depending on order type and requirements
